पहिली रात्र म्हणजे सुरुवात — घट बसवला जातो आणि नऊ दिवस सुरू होतात. पुढच्या सगळ्याचा आधार म्हणून तिची पूजा होते; पर्वताचा अर्थ तोच आहे.
