Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Your mandal page: everything you type or upload to it, such as the name, city, timings, photos, committee names and phone numbers, and the mandal’s UPI ID. This is published on the internet when you press Publish, so only add what you’re happy for anyone to see.
• Payments for an own address: the plan, the address and the amount; the payment reference Cashfree gives us; or the UPI transaction reference (UTR) you type in. For an online payment, the mobile number you give is passed to Cashfree for the receipt. We do not store it, and we never see card, bank or UPI PIN details.
• Reports: when someone reports a page, what they wrote and any contact they chose to give.

Why we use it

• To run your account and show your mandal’s page.
• To take, confirm and, where our refund policy applies, refund payments for an own address.
• To keep the service safe: dealing with reports, and stopping fake or abusive pages.
• To reply when you contact us. We don’t sell your data and we don’t send marketing email.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage (servers in Mumbai, India).
• Vercel: hosting of the website.
• Cashfree Payments: online payments and refunds, under its own privacy policy and RBI rules.

How long we keep it

• Your page and account stay until you ask us to delete them.
• Payment records (amount, date, reference) are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. The raw payment notifications we receive from Cashfree are trimmed after 180 days.
• Reports are kept while they are useful for keeping the service safe.

Cookies

We use one kind of cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit or unpublish your page at any time from your dashboard. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and page, contact us. We reply within 7 days.
