Navi Mumbaicha Raja

Shiv Chhaya Mitra Mandal, credited as Navi Mumbai's first sarvajanik Ganesh mandal, holds Navi Mumbaicha Raja at the CIDCO Ground in Turbhe. Local reports count about five decades of celebrations, which places its first festival around 1970. Its sets have included a Kedarnath temple replica in 2013, when the theme raised aid for Uttarakhand flood victims, and it reports blood donation camps, health check-ups and book distribution for students.
