Mumbaicha Raja

Lalbaug Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal, known as Mumbaicha Raja, has held its Ganeshotsav at Ganesh Galli in Lalbaug since 1928. In 1977, its 50th year, it installed a 22-ft idol, reported at the time as the tallest in Maharashtra. The mandal is known for décor that recreates well-known Indian landmarks, and Curly Tales reports that it holds two Global Book of Excellence certifications.
