About the mandal
Pimpalkatta Sarvajanik Shree Ganapati Utsav Mandal Trust's Madgaocha Maharaja is one of Goa's older sarvajanik Ganeshotsavs; its Instagram gives 1957 as its founding year and marks 70 years. Besides the festival it holds kirtan competitions and religious events such as the Satyanarayan Mahapuja.
