About the mandal
Lal Bagh Ke Raja Trust has brought a replica of Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja idol to Delhi every year since 2015. The eco-friendly replica is made where the Mumbai original is made and is immersed in a pit prepared at the venue. In 2024 its pandal at Burari covered about six lakh sq ft, and the trust reports planting more than 5,000 trees, food distribution, healthcare help and COVID-19 relief.
