About the mandal
Jilbya Maruti Mandal has been a well-known central Pune mandal since 1942 and takes its name from a small Maruti temple nearby. It is known for creative decorations and social-awareness themes. Besides Ganeshotsav, it organises events for the Dnyaneshwar palkhi, Republic Day, Independence Day and Dahi Handi.
