About the mandal

The Hindu Colony Ganeshotsav Mandal is the residents' mandal of Dadar's Hindu Colony. According to its website, it grew out of a Friends Association formed in 1945 and held its first Ganeshotsav in 1946. Besides the festival it runs sports tournaments, plays, cultural programmes and competitions for residents.
