About the mandal
Dundi Ganesh Seva Samithi in Vijayawada builds very large eco-friendly clay Ganesh idols: 63 ft in 2015, and 72 ft in 2017, which was billed as the tallest in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A 72-ft clay idol was planned again for 2026. The Samithi presents its idols as an eco-friendly example for households and neighbourhoods.
