Dhamankar Naka Ganpati

Dhamankar Naka Mitra Mandal won first prize and the rolling shield in Bhiwandi's 2026 Ganeshotsav competition, in which 43 mandals took part, for organisation, discipline and following environmental and police rules. Its 2026 set, about 120 ft tall, is an eco-friendly replica of Varanasi's Swarved Mahamandir Dham built from wood, bamboo, rope and cloth. The Free Press Journal counted 2026 as its 38th Ganeshotsav.
