Chinchpoklicha Chintamani

Chinchpokli Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal was founded in 1920 by local residents who answered Lokmanya Tilak's call to bring people together through the festival. Its aagman, the procession that brings the idol to the pandal through Parel, draws large crowds each year. Outside the festival the mandal runs blood donation camps, a health centre, a nursery school and a bookstore.
