Akhil Chandanwadi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, known as Chandanwadi cha Raja or God (sweet) Ganpati, has celebrated Ganeshotsav in Chandanwadi since 1978, according to its own Facebook page. It is known for a tall, distinctive idol. In 2022 its immersion was part of the national Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, with tricolour petals showered on the idol.
